I really don't understand why people are bashing this so much... While it certainly didn't lit the world on fire, or at least as much as the first two did, it's a welcome addition. While not being the best of the series, it certainly is one of the best things on Newgrounds, hence my 9 star rating.

"Best Video Game Song Spoof"

And I'm also referring to video game song music videos too; that was freakin' awesome! I mean, I actually laughed out loud at the "rich" line. The use of sprites was also great, since it fits Mario so well.

I know you didn't do the song, but I'll just comment that the use of 8bit audio (for the instrumental part) was also perfect. The singing was funny for Bowser.

Everything in this video just seemed to mesh so well together, great job!

"Planet Platformer 2 can't shine due to controls"

While the gameplay element is fantastic and fun, the controls are what kill me. It's a nice stiffness with left and right, but the fact that jumping is so messed up, (i.e. by holding down jump, you jump repeatedly rather then just once,) is what kills it for me. Also, it's a little quick. Beat it in about 10 minutes, and there's little reason to go back and play. If the controls were fixed and some replayability was added, or just more planets, the game could've been a tremendous game.
